After 30 years of living in Washington, DC, I decided to take a leap of faith. I quit my job, retired early, and sold my belongings to travel the world full-time. Since then, I’ve been living in Southeast Asia for two years. During that time, I’ve helped others plan their journeys and escape the rat race for a soft, safe, and peaceful life abroad in Vietnam, Malaysia, and beyond. Moreover, I’m proud of the work I’m doing through my Move Abroad Strategy sessions, guiding clients as they design the life they truly want to live.

HISTORY
Back in 1985, I first manifested living in Washington, DC after visiting during high school. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, I was captivated by DC in just one week. Nine months after graduating college, I was living and working for my United States Senator on Capitol Hill. Since then, I’ve spent three decades building my life in the District.
I started my blog and YouTube channel because exploring DC has always been my passion. Over time, subscribers have come to enjoy my candid moments around the city, whether it’s daily life or a stroll down memory lane, as I share unique tips, local history, and hidden neighborhoods. In addition, part of my mission is to grow a trusted community resource: your one-stop shop for all things DC and travel. Ultimately, I aim to inspire you to explore new places and live life without regrets.
