Charming Lisbon Airbnb Apartment
Lisbon is a fabulous city with an array of things to do and delicious food to eat. I wasn’t sure where to stay in Lisbon but when I saw this adorable Alfama Balcony Airbnb: Awesome Tagus View, I was sold. While traveling, I love to explore the neighborhoods, immerse in the culture, and eat local cuisine.
Oldest District in Lisbon
Our Alfama apartment was delightful and it felt surreal staying in a historical landmark. Waking to the gorgeous view of the Tagus was a marvelous way to start the day. Both bedrooms had balconies and the charm of the district was captivating. It’s an easy walk to center as you pass historical monuments along the way. Lisbon is the city of seven hills and that’s the TRUTH! Bring quality, comfortable walking shoes and enjoy Alfama.
One thing you must watch out for in Lisbon is pickpocketing. When you’re riding the tram or hanging out in public places, do not leave your purse, wallet, or phone on the table or in your back pocket.

Watch this video for highlights of Lisbon and Barcelona! I booked two trips for the price of one. Travel from Barcelona to Lisbon was under $100.00. Beautiful cities with their own uniqueness. You’ll see the amazing architecture designs of Antoni Gaudí in Barcelona and 900 year old Alfama in Lisbon along the Tagus River.
