Charming Fifty Hotel & Suites, New York

It was my birthday weekend in New York and I wanted to stay near Central Park. The Fifty Hotel & Suites is the perfect location within walking distance to the park, subway, historic landmarks, and restaurants. I’ve stayed in numerous hotels in the city over the years and this was one of my best stays.The customer service and hospitality were excellent and the room exceeded my expectations.

A modern boutique hotel with a beautiful lobby and guest area serving complimentary wine. It smells delightfully aromatic and refreshing like a spa. The studio two bedroom is a decent size and comfortably accommodates two people.

The room has ample closet space with robes and a safe. Two things I enjoyed about the shower were the water pressure and quality soaps. 

We had a lovely view of the city from the 16th floor. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and the  room insulation is solid because I didn’t hear any street or hallway noise. 

The air conditioner worked well and it was a relaxing three day stay. I boasted to friends this is my New York City hotel when visiting because the roll out the red carpet for guests and treated me like a Queen. 

ProTip: Go next door to The Kimberly Hotel for a lovely rooftop view.
