Eastern Market Tour in Washington, DC

Join me on a tour of Eastern Market in Washington, DC. It is one of the best, historic farmers market located on Capitol Hill. I use to walk to Eastern Market every weekend for fresh produce, fruits, and vegetables. It’s a lovely open and inside market with local artist, crafts, furniture, and good eats. Visit the African vendor in the video with the beautiful dresses, natural products, and essential oils. It’s always fun talking with him. 

You must visit Eastern Market and hang out with the locals and try the renowned blueberry pancakes. During the summer, the market celebrates with events on the third Thursday of each month usually from May to September. This is in addition to their weekend markets. Washington, DC Pro Tip: Go early for the delicious blueberry buckwheat pancakes! The District of Columbia is called “The District” by locals. Be sure to visit Eastern Market and hang out with the locals.
