UDC Van Ness Farmers Market
The UDC Van Ness Farmers Market in Washington, DC is another awesome market. It’s located on the campus of the University of the District of Columbia in a quaint suburban-like neighborhood on Connecticut Avenue, one Metro station away from the Cleveland Park Farmers Market. They have the best priced fruits, vegetables, and meats. I couldn’t pass up the hearty, freshly made, scrumptious empanadas! It’s my treat and shopping here is part of my weekend routine.

The neighborhood is surrounded by embassies, UDC Law School, and Rock Creek Park. It’s great for walking and exploring a different side of the city with apartment buildings, restaurants, and delicious bakeries.
